Contract Focus Summary
This contract responds to the the US Navy's need for logistics support of their Expeditionary Medical Systems.  It addresses the critical requirement to develop, produce or acquire, deploy, maintain and track vital medical materiel and solutions in order to maintain operational readiness on the ground during combat and crisis scenarios.  This essential team will assist in all aspects of warehousing operations in support of the overall mission.

Job Summary
The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for a wide range of warehouse logistics and inventory control functions in support of medical logistics operations. Personnel will utilize government-furnished systems for managing inventory, processing receipts and turn-ins, conducting inspections, and performing logistical support tasks. Assigned individuals must demonstrate reliable, efficient, and professional conduct.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
· Utilize Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support, Hospital Information Management System, or other authorized government systems for routine logistics processes
· Perform receiving, shipping, storing, packing (kitting/stuffing), unpacking, and picking of general and specialized materials
· Conduct physical inventories, transaction documentation, and updates to stock levels.
· Review and restock medical logistics items and remove/replace expired goods in Expeditionary Medical System.
· Execute transaction quality control and file documentation promptly and accurately.\· Research and resolve product recalls and quality assurance notices using Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support or other platforms.
· Review logistics documents for completeness; resolve discrepancies or obtain missing information.
· Receive and inspect incoming shipments; report discrepancies and route materials by category.
· Support re-warehousing efforts and platform-specific stowing operations.
· Conduct Pick, Pack, Preserve & Crate (PPP&C) functions for outbound shipments and Expeditionary Medical Systems deployment.
· Provide administrative support, including data entry, electronic record maintenance, and email communications.
· Deliver supplies and equipment within the warehouse and attached buildings as needed.
· Maintain warehouse cleanliness and ensure proper storage of medical gases per AFI/local safety guidelines.
· Assist in turn-in of unserviceable supplies and equipment, verifying material documentation and conditions
· Operate Material Handling Equipment, including up to 1.5-ton stake bed trucks and 4–6K forklifts

Physical Requirements
Able to perform physical tasks involving walking, standing, bending, lifting items over 45 lbs, and working on hard surfaces.

Education and/or Experience
-HS Diploma
-Valid US Drivers License to drive up to a 1.5 ton stake bed truck and 4-6K forklifts for the delivery of medical equipment, supplies, and furniture.
- Prior experience in a supply chain or warehouse logistics setting, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and material handling
- Knowledge of warehousing procedures, supply functions, storage methods, and support programs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project) and Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to read and interpret logistical regulations and manuals
- Proficiency in English grammar and formatting for correspondence and reports
- Competency in operating standard U.S. office and warehouse equipment
- Strong communication, ethics, and customer service orientation
